I'm very involved with sedimentary rocks, because of my work with the Widow Jane Mine, an abandoned cement mine in Rosendale NY. It hasn't been mined since 1970, but we do concerts in there.

The “Cro-Magnon” track has a nice basaltic or pumice-like sound. Definitely a “rock record”. (Unfortunately in the anthropology world they have decided that this term “Cro-Magnon” is racist and derogatory, but that’s another story...)
