i met an "i live for wfmu" person last night too. her friend spotted my what was music? fmu t.
in 5-10 minutes she mentioned only 3 programs, 2 of which a can't stand (non-music shows, both not on the schedule now) and one that i don't like in principle!
she asked me what shows i listen to and i totally blanked out! just kept saying Daniel Blumin!
(i was kinda drunk)

Pernice Brothers! I thought of them when Therese said "overcome" before, bec "overcome by happiness" was my intro to them, and their debut. So amazing, as is this record. / the English Beat- they rip MThatcher. I heard the Brits called her Tina bec she often said "there is no alternative".
  10:56pm
steveL:

Alex Chilton: What an open voice, dangerously so.

Hi, Therese and folks. I'll always remember the time, as we waited for the school bus on an April Fools Day morning, when Mom had us believing there was a mule running around in the yard.
