In some ways, the telecineradio series has some of the more consistently conventional sounds – way less offbeat funk, avant garde sketches, or analog electronics than Mood Music, Dance and Mood Music, or many other labels and series in the library world. But it has some great stuff! and all that will be offset by the utter weirdness of the TVMusic stuff to come

a lot of this very similar in sensibility to Jungle Obsession, though the stripped down aesthetic makes it so much more alien. in between the two, you have their work on the Southern Library label which really bridges the gap

@LD: yeah on stuff like this, the Southern LPs, and probably particularly Pop Electronique you can really hear the affinity, and helps explain why their studio effects are always so much cooler than almost any of their contemporaries'

I'm going to roll pennies now. We'll see how this accompaniment aids or stresses the effort. Actually don't have the paper rolls, so I'm going to separate the pennies into groups of fifty and put them into little plastic drawers like you'd use for small screws or electronic parts.
