Favoriting Cratedigger's Lung with Rich In Washington: Playlist from May 17, 2019 Favoriting

Rich in Washington's avatar View Rich in Washington's profile Favoriting

A three-hour exploration of excavations from the farthest reaches of humanity's hellish collective brain, through records, tapes, CDs, mostly scoured from country bumpkin thrift stores, creepy charity shops, backwoods junk stores, and even the internet - all mixed live. We don't judge, we just play 'em. Hosted by Rich in Washington.

I'm trying to place where the GIF on the playlist is from. It reminds me of a old Cascade commercial.
Avatar 7:05pm
Don-O:

As for that GIF: "Glad I Didn't Say Anything About The Dirty Knife"
  7:05pm
Martinibomb:

Love shit about records being made digging this mix
Avatar 7:06pm
spacebrother:

It's vital info for vinyl people.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:06pm
Rich in Washington:

I remember the DJ mixer in KOUG had hard pan-able channels, which I used often.
Avatar 7:06pm
Don-O:

I'm STILL having trouble getting picture on my page. Will have to re-read the instructions again.....or yell at my brain again.
Avatar 7:07pm
Mr Fab:

your own mixing here I presume, Rich?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:07pm
Rich in Washington:

I can't find this exact video anymore. And when there was an American cable tv version of this program, all the voiceovers were replaced with a male voice, saying the exact same thing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:07pm
Rich in Washington:

Hopey! Glad you could make it!
Avatar 7:07pm
spacebrother:

I haven't paid proper attention. I still don't know where to put code or whatever to the playlist for album graphics.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08pm
Rich in Washington:

And of course, Martinibomb! It's looking like a party in here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08pm

The animated gif looks like an American attempt at doing Luis Bunuel.
Avatar 7:12pm
Mr Fab:

ha, you're right spacebrother! Or maybe British?
  7:13pm
Martinibomb:

Didn't you interview Otis or something for when you were at that station? Wasn't that 09/10 when Bran Flakes were here?

  7:25pm
Martinibomb:

Spider Moccasin had a big mural painted inside that venue if I remember correctly.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm

This whole comp is really great, even if you're not a full on Bonzo fan. It's almost always riding around in my radio crate.
Avatar 7:48pm

If you're the Fred Sanford of the Jungle Room, I'm afraid to ask who i am.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:48pm
Rich in Washington:

HA!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:48pm
Granny Spicy Tuna:

about 25 years ago i had a huge garage sale and got rid of hundreds of weird, crappy records, which were mostly scooped up by a geeky friend of mine. Ten years later, she moved into my house for a couple of years, and when she moved out…she left my old records at my house!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:49pm
Rich in Washington:

That's great, Granny!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm
Granny Spicy Tuna:

it's my only super power: i CAN'T get rid of crap, even when i try!
  7:51pm
Martinibomb:

oh man it's almost over with. Thanks for the music today Mr. Rich
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:54pm
Rich in Washington:

Rich in WA, it's a lifelong dream, i just waste all my time listening to the radio!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56pm
Rich in Washington:

I try my best to do both. I'm either playing music for people or listening to someone play music for me.
Avatar 7:56pm
Mr Fab:

I only recently found out that "Buffalo Gals" refers to women of the city of Buffalo, NY. i used to be baffled by images of a guy dancing with buffalo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56pm
