Jack Silbert, known on the WFMU message board as “Hoboken Jack” is known for his dedication and knowledge of the NY/ NJ music scene. He is also an author, editor, internet DJ, and frequent master of ceremonies.

In the summer of 2016 after surgery on his abdomen, complications lead to the amputation of both of his legs below the knees. Jack candidly speaks of the transformation, physically and emotionally, through his ordeal and about the importance of community, music and the will to find positivity in any situation. Join us as we share his story.
