Hello, friends! Today your newly improved Kєn will take you on a journey to the wonderful world of World Music by playing you Paul Simon's Graceland for the entirety of the show!
Kennnnnnnn!
I think you should play :
Mercury Girl
Que Vida?!
and then You Didn't Have To Be So Nice
in tribute to that great summer show you did in 2010!
I hear your pain and confusion, wfmu_listener_phillip. I am embarrassed to admit that just last night, I realised Keith Moon was the drummer of The Who. I always thought he play in the Rolling Stones!
@Linda good painters are hard to find. We had to have ours painted twice, and the second cost was nearly double the first because he had to fix all of the first painter's screw-ups.
Yeah, the first guy didn't sand his spackling well, didn't use a primer, used the wrong type of paint, didn't bother covering furniture or use painters tape. they did it while we were on vacation so we couldn't supervise
Just play the lead in to "Old Friends" from Bookends.
"I can't get up the mucus!"

FԚFԚ (:
I hire my painters based on their knowledge of Bob Ross. How are you going to trust someone to do your wall if they can't tell how many little fluffy clouds should be on it ?
@Phillippe Bastille - I was in Baltimore two weeks ago to see Deicide. They were awesome, but I got in a fight with the cops and lost one of the lenses to my sunglasses.
@Ken: The harp gif for Anita brought to mind the album 'Harpist's Bazaar' by Lloyd Lindroth. It has a groovy cover of 'Tequila' among other groovy covers. (I can't believe I nearly passed on this thinking $2 was overpriced!)

FԚFԚ (:
One can alwaysrequest the Senhor Testiculo gif whenever they feel the gif selection declines.
I'd be listening non stop but I am in my garden today which is apparently JUST OUT OF RANGE of my wifi and my stupid 3G (yes, that's what we have up here) sucks because my iphone sucks and I am pissed. I'm such a loser.
Now I am sad. I have to go turn off the irrigation so I am going to miss some of the show. There are downsides to living in a clean, safe environment, growing my own food and tending to my own livestock, running my own business, swimming in clean water.
One last thing before I go - I was all set to get 2 goats this spring, but my mom brought 4 pekin ducklings from Cleveland when she came in May. Now I have 4 gigantic, terrified, dirty, noisy, hungry, loud babies in my goat pen. smh They are awesomely cute, though.
Having heard a few notes of 'Yakety Sax' I have a request.
Any chance we can hear the Boots Randolph track that crossed over to the Northern Soul scene? His cover of 'Take a Letter Maria' which was issued on 45. Please and thank you.
Dang! What a fine collection of covers and everything else (are they all covers?)!!! Love the gifs too during this ZuckerBezosTrumpVanDykeCavanaugh f'd up period.
For Losermom's situation, does there exist battery-operated, rechargeable WiFi repeaters? Hang one on a post near the barn and enjoy the signal. Would also be handy for backyard parties or in remote villages and hooked up to a solar panel.
@Brian and @LL 10-ish -- sorry was on a call. In addition to the crappy paint job, these painters ruined thousands of dollars of stuff (including cloth pieces). Paint on every piece of living room and office furniture, broken lampshades, paint on the treadmill/clothes hanger, paint on the bedroom pillows, paint in the tile grout, paint on every single light fixture/ceiling fan, every window frame and hinge needed to be scraped. I could go on...
Thanks to FMU, my "home office" is not actually in my home anymore. Sheetrocked the storage shed, added electric, a/c, heat, and carpet. I can play it loud and proud.
