  7:28pm The Butterman:

Yoiking is just Finnish eephing
Avatar 7:29pm Dan Bodah:

What do you mean, "just"?
Avatar 7:31pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Probly like the Chinese version - one string here & a rod for a neck? Looks like it could do nothing? & it sings like this...
Avatar 7:34pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Can't tell. Here's something... : images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm Richard S:

There's a VOLUME 4 OUT????
Avatar 7:37pm Dan Bodah:

It's a "horsehead fiddle" -- morin khuur -- en.wikipedia.org...

Very close to the doshpuluur used in Tuvan/Altain music. A two-string bowed instrument like a cello.
  7:38pm andrewb:

seriously, Shooby is the patron saint 0f fmu
Avatar 7:39pm Dan Bodah:

Sorry, the Tuvan/Altain instrument is called the igil. Doshpuluur is a strummed guitar-like instrument.
Avatar 7:39pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Thx for indulging me in that DB ! Instruments fascinate me...
Avatar 7:40pm Dan Bodah:

Holy shit, look at this igil played by May-ool Sedip of Alash Ensemble made out of *an actual horse's skull*!! www.alashensemble.com...
Avatar 7:40pm Dan Bodah:

@andrewb, yep
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@Dan - Hey, there's your next marathon grand prize!
Avatar 7:43pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Natural Materials as Instruments - it's a thing...magickal resonance...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm dale:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm Richard S:

Avatar 7:46pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar 7:53pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
