okay i've just decided that whenever i'm with 2 or more other people and the conversation has a lull, the appropriate phrase to utter is "smexmec".
Avatar 3:55pm
Creamo Coyl:

Ha!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:57pm
tim from champaign:

I'm trying to decipher if Smexmec is a code for Mark E Smith, Brix and other Fall members. I haven't cracked the code yet.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59pm
ultradamno:

I think that tape might pre-date Brix in The Fall by a minute.

I'm gonna guess that was a different Soviet Sex - there was a NYC band of the same name. i remember this, because I recall this record in my college radio station library back in the 80s - www.discogs.com...

Woohoo ! ...Home with the big speakers...
Man - how grateful I am to have this Program of stuffs I love but generally am utterly uninformed about...not just CCs - but hell all uh youse. .
So i got four leetle bottles of white trash NewHampshuh .99cent liquors.. Which do I drink now? ...:
Lady Bligh cherry spices rum
Dept Kuyper peppermint schnapps
Arrow pep schnapps - 100Proof
Arrow BlackBerry brandy...
Avatar 4:39pm
max-svuvn:

Cheaper in the sense that you can get small quantities made without the minimum of a pressing plant, usually like less than $10 a piece for single sided ones. Square lathe cuts are usually cheaper too. Check out this site, I've ordered some 7"s from him before: www.precariancuts.com
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39pm

Is it anything like a bone record (russian music pressed on discarded x-rays)? www.thisiscolossal.com...

Yes but much less cool (and more legal haha)
