Somewhere on a Latin American radio station the host is saying "That band is from Canada. Or is it the US? One of those North American countries for sure." :)

@Creamo: Tuned in late, sorry, did I hear you say Kraftwerk haven't released their original S/T LP? If so, they did, along with their 2nd LP, Kraftwerk 2 as a double CD set. I also have the Tone Float on CD if you need either or both. Of course I may be mistaken and I heard you incorrectly and if so, I apologize. Wonderful segues!

re: Kraftwerk
Those are all bootlegs. I mean officially.

There is the vinyl Excellr8 comp that I have that has some of the early stuff on it. But all the CDs are boots as far as I know.

Avatar 3:59pm
Creamo Coyl:

Exceller8 was on Vertigo, 1975.

If you look at Discogs, you can see all the many unofficial versions of their early stuff, in every format.
Avatar 4:00pm
Creamo Coyl:

There is also a nice quality Tone Float LP and CD that came out that is not quite official either. I have the LP. Used to have the CD which has 2 bonus cuts.
Avatar 4:01pm
Creamo Coyl:

Anyway, they completely disown it. Doesn't exist to them.

Will they publicly condemn you for mentioning it like, say, Merzbow?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:04pm
Barney Grubbs:

aw man, I got the germanofon releases from aquarius without realizing they were boots. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I bought trans-euro express and radioactivity used on tape, too. I owe Rolf & Florian more than a few deutschmarks.
Avatar 4:06pm
Creamo Coyl:

They are invited on the show to talk about their selective amnesia while I blast the tracks into their disapproving faces.
Avatar 4:06pm
sphere:

Looks like Kraftwerk is blocking the bootlegs from being sold. At least the Germanofon version was blocked.
Avatar 4:09pm
Creamo Coyl:

Dropped 30 bucks a piece on those suckers in the early 2000s at Kim's. Why the fuck did sell them 10 years later??? (cuz I was fuckin broke).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:11pm

I've got a Ralf & Florian vinyl I bought at Repeat Performance in Muncie in the 80s. I don't know what I paid for it....maybe $10
  4:27pm
Andres:

I spotted an ad for a collection of Kraut/Prog/Psych that I referred to a friend who was out of the country. He etransfered, I picked up the many boxes and had a listening party until his return. Those original issued Kraftwerk albums stood out from the rest for me. I assumed I'd find my own copies not knowing their scarcity. If I'd asked my friend he would simply have given them to me. The search continues.
