There's a pic of Mike Deasy where he looks like the unfortunate lovechild of The Dicks' Gary Floyd and Bill Hicks, and sporting a sweet mullet.

Figured he was some unknown idiot, but yikes, he was a Wrecking Crew sessioneer, played on tons of tracks, some of which you probly own.

First Space Lady, now this. It's Casio day!
I, in fact, own the same models both Space Lady and this guy use. Aren't you (un)impressed?

Martinibomb:

It's a good vibe. I love old drum machine sound.

I used to have this little Casio keyboard that was also a calculator. I miss that thing.

Oooooo! Apparently it is the Casio VL-Tone. I wonder what an old one is going for these days?
Avatar 2:39pm
Mr Fab:

I bought mine at a garage sale for $10.

I remember reading back in the day that the Casio VL-Tone was the ultimate music tool of the people.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41pm
Rich in Washington:

@Hopey: pre-internet, you could find them around for relatively cheaply in the wild. Now, I would imagine they're fairly valuable. Same with those later Casio SK-1s, SK-10s.
