Great T&T story about a boy who just wants to play Pan... It was considered gangster back in the day????? Came from the discarded Oil Drums of WWII..
there was always drum music in T&T (illegal - due to racism of the colonial UK gov't), but the drum as it is now comes from the oil industry..

The Stereolab reissues are actually surprisingly cheap: 3 LP sets were selling for $25 at their shows, they are a bit more in the shops but still pretty darn cheap by todays standards...
