Cool. I didn’t miss anything. I was finishing up a mix after my buddy’s show ended and was worried I might miss the beginning.

Hi Kris. I’ve been up since around 4:30 AM and have been listening to music non stop since then.

Matt from New Orleans:

Oddly I’m not feeling tired and got a bunch of work done. Hopefully I sleep later tonight. No need to get up that early. Stupid body.

I was up at 5am & I'm feeling it right about now

Little Danny:

Hey y'all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:14pm
Matt from New Orleans:

I’ve been hearing this guy Pete Smith play a cover of Rescue Me by a female vocal group and he claimed they were called The Shells. Nothing on the internet and it’s been driving me crazy for weeks. Finally I noticed in one of the comment sections that someone outed the record. It apparently is on a budget line put out by Pye in the U.K. called Top Six and it’s on volume 24. Quite good all things considered.

Hi Chresti and Danny

Kris! We're a couple of sleepyheads over here - been up since 4am. Did nap, but I feel like crap.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20pm
Little Danny:

I always wake up stiff and groggy after cat naps.
Avatar 10:20pm
Kris Holmes:

Matt - Ha, yep, some solid covers on those Top Six discs
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23pm
Matt from New Orleans:

I’m not a good nap person either
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24pm
Matt from New Orleans:

Interesting cover
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:25pm
chresti:

I can't nap more than 30 minutes, if I want to function the rest of the day

Kris Holmes:

Hi Dan & Jason
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:30pm
Franco Twinkie:

I love Aertaun! The Hollywood Tornadoes are great crap surf combo. Produced by Paul Buff?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:31pm
Little Danny:

autocorrect, Franco!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:32pm
Little Danny:

TELSTAR!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:32pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:33pm

Kris sings Joe Meek!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:33pm
Franco Twinkie:

Univox, not a piano.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:35pm
Little Danny:

This is a fun turn
Avatar 10:36pm
Kris Holmes:

The middle section of Telstar doesn't change to Piano??
Avatar 10:37pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:40pm
doctorjazz:

Hi all you sensitive people!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:41pm
Matt from New Orleans:

I’ve heard of a clavinet but that’s new to me Danny
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:41pm
doctorjazz:

Clavioline, is that motor oil?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:42pm
Franco Twinkie:

Forget those stupid British fops! The real shit is The Tornadoes from the I.E. Another Paul Buff/Frank Zappa desert surf classic with ocean waves is The Heavies by the Rotations.
Avatar 10:43pm
Kris Holmes:

I don't even own that Telstar 45 so I can't even play it to get it out of my damn head now
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43pm
Little Danny:

Haha Franco get off your phone
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43pm
Matt from New Orleans:

Wikipedia says it might have been a Univox, Danny, which I’ve heard of.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44pm
chresti:

Haha doc
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44pm
Little Danny:

Yeah, I might be mistaken. Figure the section Kris is describing was played using the keyboard's string or harp setting
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:45pm
Matt from New Orleans:

Or maybe both
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:45pm
Matt from New Orleans:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52pm
Matt from New Orleans:

Dan, it was new to me, never knew of it before last week. I like it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:55pm
Matt from New Orleans:

Low ridery
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:55pm
Little Danny:

I can't imagine someone not liking that. Dreamy sweet soul with Latin sunshine harmonies
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:56pm
Franco Twinkie:

A band at a Mexican Restaurant. I love it. Slow jam with extra chips and salsa.
Avatar 11:00pm
Kris Holmes:

That's the "loungey" vibe for sure, just envisaging the ruffled shirts
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02pm
Matt from New Orleans:

I like this second one
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:06pm
