	5:46pm Mr Fab: Yes! I'm fascinated with all kinds of music/sounds, but it seemed like the world needed fun/groovy/sexy stuff like never before. Very inclusive, welcoming all freaks. Something positive, not getting all depressed and frustrated, but like I've said here before: you don't like the culture, make your own. DIY, and all that jazz.

	♥ 6:03pm DJ GeorgyGirl: @Rich - absolutely. the first Crosby, Stills & Nash album does that for me. I get super jumpy with most albums and have to mix and match, but every now and then I have ones like the C, S & N one that I can listen to from beginning to end :-)

	♥ 6:06pm DJ GeorgyGirl: I bought the Captain fantastic album the day it was released because it was the new Elton John and because the poster intrigued me. Didn't hear a single track pre-release, just turned up with my pocket money and bought it. It didn't disappoint :-)

	♥ 6:07pm Rich in Washington: I was really ecstatic when the ability to collect and shuffle MP3s came along but then I realized that some albums just can't be shuffled for me. The first two Eno albums, for example. Not that there's a flow between songs, it's just pure nostalgic continuity for me. I remember loading up my automatic turntable spindle with a stack of LPs and I'd just lay there listening or reading or drawing for hours and hours. When all those sides were done, I'd flip the stack over.

	6:30pm lindalee: Unfortunately even if we pull back from too much much, we are always dealing with people who have not. Its like a virus. we're exposed to toxins through them.
	♥ 6:30pm DJ GeorgyGirl: I have a friend who I've known for nearly 30 years and she knows where I stand politically, but the other day she started almost shouting at me and pretty much questioning why I voted the way I do. And it got to the point where I couldn't actually talk about it because I felt like I couldn't speak. It was REALLY odd.
	6:32pm lindalee: It seems like, in order to remember our connectedness we have to spend time in quiet solitude. Then we regain our sight a little.
	6:32pm Mr Fab: You don't have to speak. It's not like she's basing her ideas on anything logical that you could actually debate.

	♥ 6:07pm Rich in Washington: I was really ecstatic when the ability to collect and shuffle MP3s came along but then I realized that some albums just can't be shuffled for me. The first two Eno albums, for example. Not that there's a flow between songs, it's just pure nostalgic continuity for me. I remember loading up my automatic turntable spindle with a stack of LPs and I'd just lay there listening or reading or drawing for hours and hours. When all those sides were done, I'd flip the stack over.

And it got to the point where I couldn't actually talk about it because I felt like I couldn't speak. It was REALLY odd.
