The unofficial Paris transit authority motto is "veuillez nous excuser pour la gêne occasionnée". My neighbor once used that phrase when warning people about her kids' birthday party, we had a laugh over it, she hadn't realized where it came from. Also, the Paris transit thing is called RATP, which stands for "Rentre Avec Tes Pieds" (ie: walk back home)
