The Old Codger: playing 78 RPM records like they're going out of style!
I've had a very busy week. We had a kind of marathon at radio focus, with lot's of extra work. I'm not used to that anymore and I had never counted on the two new show s kicking off at the same time as well, but sofar,,, I'm suriving :-)
Listened up to Fats Waller last night and picked up there to the end today. Enjoyed it all. The Edison cylinder transfer was great quality. Nice to hear the European selections along with US widely known greats. That Cantor tune you played has a slice of history reflected in the words. Enjoyed it all thank you.
