you can start BUTT super early like I put it on a couple minutes and it will keep trying to connect until Jan disconnects.. so you just keep your eye on BUTT until it says "connected" and then hit play as quickly as possible

@BC: Wot MB said. That's pretty much what I do. I pretty much have BUTT on but 'IDLE' while doing my setup, so I can use its VU meters to set levels.
