A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Trouble is right. But be careful of empowered bigots in the aftermath of this all.

Nobody here really can affect the nonsense that is happening with Drumpf and his thugs. But the reality is I think everyone here has the power to be more aware of nonsense happening around them in the real world. Meaning, morons who see Drumpf’s non-impeachment as validation of behavior might just decide to be more racist, hateful and bigoted. That is not needed. That should be reacted to.

Also, tons of undeserving things win awards all the time. For example, what film won best picture Oscar in 1980? “Ordinary People” a film most people didn’t care about by 1981. You know what film also came out in 1980 that is still popular, taught in film school and considered a classic? “Raging Bull.” It didn’t win an Oscar but it’s respect and well regarded? How did that happen!
