We would sit at the counter with an order of french fries between us, put nickles into the juke box and play Hang On Sloopy by The McCoys over and over until we we asked to leave. I understand the mystique of the truck stop. Kind of.

And I thought..it's never bothered me, and it's a deep grumbly rabbit hole to drop into to grade and unpack lyrics for too many things...unless they are eminently awful.
