	♥ 5:06pm Franco Twinkie: Georgy, I just remembered something. There is this Sardinian Restaurant in Noe Valley, a neighborhood in San Francisco that has the best grilled sardines with raw onions that they serve as an appetizer. The real big ones! Not that rinky-dink stuff you get in a can.

Weak sunlight coming in through the icy window and Led Zeppelin in all its stereo glory through a a mono turntable. THOSE WERE THE DAYS ( and I do no refer to portable mono turntables)

	♥ 4:39pm Rich in Washington: I always think of Monty Python and The New Gas Cooker sketch and I really want one of those stoves. With the little heater/warmer thing on top.
	♥ 4:39pm DJ GeorgyGirl: @Rich - my mum had one with the grill on the top and I used to look watching sardines under the grill. Proper fireworks :-)

	♥ 4:42pm DJ GeorgyGirl: The main thing with the old gas grill pans is that the handles were always slightly rubberised so if you pushed it in too far the handle would melt and warp. lol

	♥ 5:06pm Franco Twinkie: Georgy, I just remembered something. There is this Sardinian Restaurant in Noe Valley, a neighborhood in San Francisco that has the best grilled sardines with raw onions that they serve as an appetizer. The real big ones! Not that rinky-dink stuff you get in a can.

	♥ 5:12pm Franco Twinkie: Yup. Those giant sardines were a revelation to me as well. When I got home I had to find some. I finally did at a Chinese market. However, preparing them was a stinking mess. I only did it once, Chresti wouldn't touch them!

Weak sunlight coming in through the icy window and Led Zeppelin in all its stereo glory through a a mono turntable. THOSE WERE THE DAYS ( and I do no refer to portable mono turntables)

	♥ 5:42pm coelacanth∅: i'm a pretty slow reader too but getting faster. i only started reading fiction around 15 years ago. never finished a single book throughout my schooling, except one tiny strange but true short story book; but i've always read album liner notes voraciously.
