Avatar 9:13pm
northguineahills:

@Henry: That has happened to me all the time here. Since my last decade has been mostly freelance, employers her in FL see it as I move around jobs too much, as it's infrequent to do here.

I've had job interviews where I go extreme minutiae of their projects (I do my research) that last hours, and have a good friendly conversations as well, and then I get an email saying HR wanted another canidate.

@coel: I never signed a lease, this was supposed to be a stop-gap option before I hear back from my other interviews (around the state), still waiting.

I had a couple jobs with the 2010 US census -- address canvassing quality control in the field in 2009, local office work in 2010. I got hired for this year too, not for the decennial census but a supplementary survey -- but my car became irreparable so I couldn't start.

@Listener Robert: Well, my car is missing a bumper b/c I parallel parked in a narrow alley, and nicked my bumper enough that by the time I got home, it was starting to fall off, so, I ripped it off. Still runs great.
