We did a temporary refresh of our bathroom while we wait a few years to renovate (if ever). I found a nice old (early 90s) TEAC mini stereo unit and paired it with some outdoor speakers that I mounted near the ceiling in the bathroom. Ran the speaker wires through the door frame so I could keep the electronics dry. Total cost was under $20 (thrift store finds). Now I can crank FMU as I shower. Of course, this means there is no hot water for anyone else. To which I say, screw you for your lack of creativity.

@PB: LCBD got in touch about it? Not sure what else went on. We tried to Jitsi it, but it was really glitchy last night (I have used it with great success otherwise). So yerfriendpaul made a Zoom meeting.

Don't worry, Mark Hurst! I avoided talking about drugs, immigration status, or anything else fun!

And uninstalled Zoom afterward.

Which reminds me to ask: is it hard to uninstall applications on a Mac? Kate has a little Mac Book Air, but we have avoided using it for Zoom until we know whether uninstalling is possible.

@ngh, that sounds AMAZING. Please send ASAP!

yes Julie, the track was probably recorded 2018 or something, but Ace of Cups were around in the 60s. There is a version of the song you played dating from back then, I don't which TV program it is from but a strong performance, though very blurred with "psychedelic" effects. It is available from youtube. Can I post the link? There is a 2003 compilation called "It's Bad for You But Buy It" which collects their 1960s recordings (have not heard it, gotta get it), I don't know if the said TV performance is there but i guess they made no studio recordings back in the 60s.

@1:25 C.S.: thanks for the link, I had forgotten Ace records had a connection with Alec Palao. What a fine fellow. I am not so familiar with the Sneetches but the Sting-Rays rule!
