Gary,King City, wow! John Breckow, a DJ who was on KPFK,told me he was arrested for having the nerve to try and hitch hike through King City. He said the cop got a robbery in progress call when he was in the back seat of the cruiser, so in a move that was worthy of Barney Fife took him to a Texaco station and hand cuffed him to the sink in the rest room so he could go confront this criminal without some hippie in the back seat.
