My dad is still around, living with my brother. When I was staying with him, I played "In the Shade of the old Apple Tree" Louis Armstrong w/ the Mills Bros. He really perked up and sang along

About a month or two ago I read that a team of movers had just dropped Angela Hewitt's prized piano, and completely destroyed it. She did all of her recording on that thing, so she wasn't too pleased. Hope she found an adequate replacement.

@chresti
In my father's last days and hours, I would sit with him and play for hours and hours Louis Armstrong & His Hot Five on my phone. Mostly the song "Tight Like This," which was his favorite.

Also one of mine. Your Dad had great taste. The Hot Fives and Sevens are unbeatable.
