	♥ 12:14pm Squints In Plymouth: Herdez is solid. No tomato paste, as I recall. Old El Paso had a great salse until about 1995 or so when they tomato-pasted it up in the name of thickness. Simple cut-up stuff is where it's at. La Mexicana's is great although it pains me I can't get their salse verde here back east. It was a tomatillo salsa but not pasty.

Or do you mean synthetic stereo where they take a mono track, filter it, and apply a bogus separation to the filtered outputs?

	12:50pm Listener Robert: Sometimes you can take an old photo from film that had an uneven color response, and with something in the shot that you can use as a color gnomon, figure out what colors were really there by computer algorithm.

	12:51pm Doug in JC: Film has three dye layers, usually it's just a matter of channel separation and individual adjustments. That'll get you 99% of the way there

Simple cut-up stuff is where it's at. La Mexicana's is great although it pains me I can't get their salse verde here back east. It was a tomatillo salsa but not pasty.
