	🥁 10:29am Doug Schulkind: At the Tower outlet across the street from Other Music, I purchase 2-3,000 budget LPs. Sometimes left with wheelbarrowsful (almost literally) of remaindered Folkways titles at first $2, then $1, then 50¢, then 25¢ apiece. My vision of heaven.

	🥁 10:32am WR: RevRabNov63, sorry to hear that. Our fave Thai place reopened last week to our surprise & joy. They had been totally closed since early March. Restaurant biz is rough any time with surprisingly high rate of failure or short lives. But when one that has been there for years goes, it is a loss.

I got breakfast cleaned up, pressure-cooked some chicken thighs, got a roux into the oven, and prepped everything else for the gumbo and cleaned the kitchen. Assembling the gumbo will flow like a cooking show. It's been a good destination:IN morning with destination:OUT.

The cost goes up and some things disappear from availability. If you don't own something, you're at the mercy of the marketplace, which doesn't always feel it has a responsibility to make its products available.

The cost goes up and some things disappear from availability.
