Hola DJ Ira and the living.

Ok lots of Sun Ra enthusiasts here. I've seen a b+w video on YouTube of a 8-10 piece Arkestra plus dancers do "Rocket #9". At the end they go acapella and do a rap style version. Can't seem to find it but does anyone know what i refer to? Thx.

Hey everyone! mb, if it’s b+w it could be 69-71 I can’t find a rocket #9. YouTube has a habit of taking videos off. I have Sun Ra Arkestra live on SNL on a dvr (not my own). It’s not on a smart tv so I don’t know how to convert it to a file to put on YouTube.

@mb - Hopefully I can use my millennial powers and up the artifact on YouTube! Oof, so much good live Sun Ra deleted forever! Still haven’t seen the snl clip. It’s one of his best and they cut the Arkestra off visually the finale 30 secs with the music still playing! I imagine the behind the cameras they were motioning to cut it or else they would have just kept playing, haha!
