Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from July 17, 2020 Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

For me, the Stones in retrospect 1969 to 1972:
"Get Yer Ya Yas Out" -- Gets better with age. Really fantastic.
"Live at Marquee '71" -- Still firing on all cylinders. Bobby Keys and Mick Taylor really adding some great spice.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Rolling Stones: Live '72" -- Man, this sounds so "noodle-y" to me now. It's like Taylor couldn't let a space go by without filling it with something. The horns seem to be blasting over the band.
