you mention pearl bein a kid.ueah.i was shocked when i found out a few months ago that the mash song,suiside is painles was writen by robert altman.the director of movie.his son 14 yrs old wrote it.and it wasnt suppose to be such a serious song.but wow.and he made a milion bucks on that song.the director his father made 60k.lol

I remember getting into TP through reruns as a teen in the late '90s, and NO ONE my age seemed to know about it-- I taped the series off TV and would take it to friends' houses to convert them one by one! Watching it spread across young people over the past decade or so has been fascinating.

This tragedy in Lebanon is so sad, It seems Lebanon always falls victim to do much when there is unrest in the Middle East. Very sad, and such a beautiful country. Peter Sarstedt has a great song called "Beirut" that I enjoy and reminds me of what continually happens in Lebanon.
