Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:28pm coelacanth∅:

greetings Jesse and all
Avatar 9:29pm TDK60:

I recall my first chimichanga. At a place in south Tucson. It was /grande/.
  9:33pm anon from somewhere else:

such lovely birds and nature sounds
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:33pm Scott Williams:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm Chop Scott:

Good Evening JJ & Scott--Cheers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42pm mariano:

Hey jj, Scott, Skeleton Joe, everyone!
Avatar 9:43pm slugluv1313:

hello and WELCOME, Skeleton Joe!
sublime sounds and vibes, Jesse -- thank you!
happy to be here listening, instead of dealing with DNC stuff :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:44pm jj.:

if you watch the DNC on mute & listen to this, you'll get all the right messages.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:45pm coelacanth∅:

hey Scott! Thanks Scott! good luck Joe!

... never have eaten a chimichanga. don't know what it is but the name sounds like an american invention to me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:46pm coelacanth∅:

hey mariano!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:49pm Aitch:

A deep-fried burrito apparently. I'd try that. I only know of them from Ween's track Pollo Asado
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:50pm Richy4619:

just joining... yay jj, scott & joe!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:51pm Your Ace From Exchange Place:

Dangerous Don!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:52pm coelacanth∅:

Aitch yah me too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:52pm coelacanth∅:

(the first part!)
Avatar 9:54pm TDK60:

That sounds right Aitch. Deep fried burrito. Mine was a chicken. And I am glad we weren't down to seeds and stems again before we went.
Avatar 9:55pm DktrFaustus:

I saw Commander Cody when he played the Haight Street Fair 10 years ago.
  9:56pm anon from somewhere else:

oh those were the days, Commander Cody
Avatar 9:56pm slugluv1313:

@ Jesse -- true!
i DO feel a need/responsibility to stay informed -- but, have been inundated with news, so kinda needed a breather :)
Avatar 9:57pm slugluv1313:

WOW this "Seeds and Streams (Again)" is WAY different from the Commander Cody i remember as a kid!
  9:58pm anon from somewhere else:

THANK YOU JESSE and the SKELETONS
Avatar 9:59pm slugluv1313:

*Steams
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:03pm jj.:

"streams & stems (again)" is a good alternate title.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:03pm coelacanth∅:

don't know where i'd get a chimichanga now. definitely not at the mexican places in town.
... the first time i ever heard of it was in the 1980s at benigan's, and the only times i've heard of them being offered have been at places like that, which may be why it sounds like an american invention to me. with a name like a child would make up.
i'm sure those were really good.
(not)
Avatar 10:04pm TDK60:

..and welcome to skeleton in training Joe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:05pm mariano:

Heya coela! How's it going?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:07pm Richy4619:

lool seeds n stems! it's a cool, warm post-rain cloudy summer sunset over the Pacific right now from where I sit within seeing distance of the Great Highway listening = ))
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:10pm coelacanth∅:

okay mariano
...finished a book last night and i'm stuck here for a few days and all the other books are packed in boxes. don't know what to do
how's you?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:17pm Richy4619:

i mean...from where I'm streaming... hahah sorry
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:18pm mariano:

Oh that sucks about the books, coela. Same old here, finally organizing my sprawling portfolio I haven't updated in years, so I'm digging through old folders on a couple of external hard drives. It's nonstop adventure and romance!
  10:18pm Fragonard:

Ra Rah Ra!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:22pm coelacanth∅:

i don't know the nature of your portfolio (except its sprawlingness) but it seems like that could be enjoyable - if it doesn't become tedious
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:29pm ParUbi:

hey all
Swag For Life Member 10:30pm opurt:

Thank you Jesse for the perfect background (or is it foreground) for the DNC speeches/soundbites. I think this counts as multi-tasking....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:32pm mariano:

coela: Yeah, it's enjoyable for the most part (it's a graphic design portfolio). I'd clean forgotten about some projects, so there's a lot of "Huh. I did that?"
Avatar 10:37pm DktrFaustus:

Diggin the RH
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:38pm coelacanth∅:

and along with being reminded of works you'd forgotten reminded possibly of other times and situations
  10:38pm anon from somewhere else:

there's that Miss Mary Jane again, am i detecting a theme here ? you can never have enough seeds and stems
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:39pm jj.:

was there a backwards message i missed?
  10:42pm anon from somewhere else:

great songs jj
  10:46pm Carmichael:

Heya Jesse and all y’all. This is the evening of my life.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:49pm mariano:

Hah, that's brilliant!
  10:52pm Yoyo:

Great show
  10:57pm Carmichael:

I believe Chiffons version figured in the lawsuit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:04pm jj.:

yes, but i think the belmonts' version was played in court to show the songs' similarities, or something like that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:07pm Richy4619:

seems democratic to me^
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:08pm mariano:

Yeah, and then George ended up buying the rights to "He's So Fine."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11pm Richy4619:

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  11:22pm ?:

fuck yeah parquet courts one of the best bands out there
Avatar 11:25pm slugluv1313:
