Butterman, Sadly Mandolin Brothers is no more. Incredible place. The banjos were the most expensive instruments in the place, some epic vintage Gibson guitars notwithstanding

JG ( my initials too!), yeah too bad. I splurged in 99 when I landed my career, high school art teacher job. I probably bought the cheapest one they had at $850. Bacon folk model open back. Been muthapluckin’ ever since.

That's crazy, Butterman, my wife got me an even cheaper banjo there for a birthday present one year. I'd go back twice a year for them to tune it for me
