Its mornings like these where life takes its weird turns and wfmu gives the perfect soundtrack to bottle feeding the new kitten in the untimely cold weather before my online hydroponic gardening class. sigh** I love this show.

	9:38am adampsyche: the latest apple mouse/keyboard that charges from lightning port are great, the battery life is much longer than the ones that used AA batteries

	9:40am YETI BOB: @Trouble: It's also possible to drive multiple computers from a single keyboard/mouse using software. You can then just move the mouse from one screen to the other, copy/paste between systems, etc. Any time I am dealing with multiple computer systems I set this up.

Tried to get screensharing to work but their security software got in the way. The laptop keyboard isn't bad but the lack of screen real estate is not so great.

	10:47am Listener Scott: I've been shooting lot of birds lately in Central Park. There's some great birds in the Ramble, but it requires a lot of patience to shoot b/c the Ramble is so dense.
	10:47am Passaic River Blues: One thing I would recommend as well is joining a local birding group, such as a chapter of the Audubon Society. My wife and I recently joined the Bergen County Audubon Society (even though we rep Essex) because they hold expert-led "bird walks" around northeast Jersey almost every week. We've gone on several walks in Dekorte Park in the Meadowlands, Frank Chapman Trail in Hackensack, and various small parks in Teaneack and along the Palisades. Each one has been really enjoyable, people masked up, cooing at marsh wrens and ahhing at hunting ospreys. www.facebook.com...

	10:52am mary: Fresh Kills is the former landfill, currently undergoing transformation into a park. Great Kills is part of the Gateway National Recreation Area. It does have an area that is closed for cleanup but only one area.

I've heard of a few instances of out of business golf courses getting turned into preserves. The Blandford Nature Center in Grand Rapids, MI where I grew up purchased the closed golf course adjacent to the nature center and just let it grow with only making minial changes to the space.

	9:38am adampsyche: the latest apple mouse/keyboard that charges from lightning port are great, the battery life is much longer than the ones that used AA batteries

	9:40am YETI BOB: @Trouble: It's also possible to drive multiple computers from a single keyboard/mouse using software. You can then just move the mouse from one screen to the other, copy/paste between systems, etc. Any time I am dealing with multiple computer systems I set this up.

Tried to get screensharing to work but their security software got in the way. The laptop keyboard isn't bad but the lack of screen real estate is not so great.

My wife and I recently joined the Bergen County Audubon Society (even though we rep Essex) because they hold expert-led "bird walks" around northeast Jersey almost every week. We've gone on several walks in Dekorte Park in the Meadowlands, Frank Chapman Trail in Hackensack, and various small parks in Teaneack and along the Palisades. I've heard of a few instances of out of business golf courses getting turned into preserves. The Blandford Nature Center in Grand Rapids, MI where I grew up purchased the closed golf course adjacent to the nature center and just let it grow with only making minial changes to the space.
