i have found in my experience that the people who enjoy nascar the most are the people who complain about their commutes the most as if the way to deal with your lousy daily drive is to kick back on the weekend with a couple of beers and watch people drive around in a circle for three hours. i have nothing against racing. motorcycle racing on ice, the grand prix, dragsters are all kind of fun but nascar is boring maybe they should add some potholes

i crash at the station. the only good thing about this pandemic is i get to walk straight (maybe slightly curved) to my bed after the show. much as i like my bed i miss and am looking forward to crashing at the station after the show.

(@154) in my yard once was a wisteria with a 9" trunk that had, by the look of it, already choked a small tree, then after that tree was no longer, the wisteria headed horizontal then up another tree, -winding around it, killing it...then smothering the canopies of several other trees at the top.
the top was outside the bathroom window of my 3rd-floor apartment, maybe 50' away. i loved the flowers, the look the smell.
i'd recently saved several trees on my sister's new property from the death-grip of wisteria; an oak, a dogwood, a norway maple (another invasive species)
i was on a mission to save the diversity and especially the indigenous species.
i took a chainsaw to the wisteria.

i almost immediately regretted doing it.
