Though my Bangladeshi neighbor was telling me he once got a ticket while sitting in his car even though no one else did. He took a picture and called the 311 about it, and that parking cop has never come back to the block.

have been repairing a heater (while doing some (more) inadvertent welding, blowing circuits, troubleshooting the blown fuses, etc.), and unboxing and inspecting a repaired/returned laptop (under warranty (barely)), and settling in to do some work. took a while, but glad i was able to listen along most of the time (except for when the wifi was out from blown fuses and troubleshooting) -- very enjoyable ride :)
