I think of this story as Heinlein's attempt to recapture that same nostalgic magic, and not quite getting there.

So most likely, the recordings we have of Dimension X are fan recordings, that have been circulating for years.

	🎸 ♥ 10:56pm Austin Rich: Heinlein has another story, about an old man who can barely make a space flight to another planet, called, "The Green Hills of Earth," which is quite beautiful, and really well written. I think of this story as Heinlein's attempt to recapture that same nostalgic magic, and not quite getting there.
