Some weird trivia I just learned today: apparently in 2019 Mike love did some solo album that included a cover of the Ramones “Rockaway Beach.“ When he came to New York to play, Marky Ramone sat in with him.

Not sure I WANTED to know that, but there it is...

Looks like John Cowsill was the drummer on the Love album. Cowsill's brother-in-law, Dwight Twilley, died recently. More scary than "Rockaway Beach," Love also covers "Girl from Ipanema" and "Here Comes the Sun."
