lots of cassette only releases (from curating shows in nyc), lots of southeastern local bands (from roadtripping in the late 90s), i do have a conrad schnitzler and an asmus tietchman cassettes, oh and some tour only eugen chadborne... then there are my own tape works, collages, (one tape cut & paste [not doing that again, talking about labor intensive]), and my some tape remixes i've done of shoegaze bands, downtempo mixes of rem, fleetwood mac, and my *steve reich* tape loop remix of lightning bolt).

oh, boy, do i have a story to tell....

around 2009, some of my friends were part of a post 9/11 art grant and were given access to 1 wall street, which at that point, had become a recently abandoned bank. in the subbasement, there were still offices w/ 90s era computers, etc. anyhoo, a few friends of mine wondered around, found an old bandk vault (yes, just like in the movies) the whole place was abandoned and we had it to ourselves. I found a partition that moved, that allowed you in b/tn the walls on the outside of the vault... so, that's my story....

/now 1 wall st is condos...

One of the Crazy Eddie stores I worked in was on Liberty Street right next to WTC Tower 2. I used to come to work after doing an overnight slot on WFMU. I had maybe 4 hours sleep and working 70 hours a week. The sleep deprivation used to give me the willies. One time it looked like there was a flood outside WTC 2.

Re: Werewolves on Wheels. Christina the programer of Alamo Brooklyn asked me what film I would like to present. I said Werewolves on Wheels. She got a print and we showed it. Packed house. I came out and danced to my theme song (yes I have a theme song) then proceeded to talk about Werewolves and how they are a satanic metaphor for freedom. I also said I had a guest! A stunt biker werewolf from the movie! I had my Wolfie doll dressed in denim vest and aviator glasses. I interviewed him with my wife planted in the audience with a microphone to make werewolf noises. So much fun.
