Sun. 4/5/09 6:39am From: Tom L (Hallock Hill)

OK, Bas, I give it to you. It could have been good. But, listening to Coil on headphones is pretty outrageous too!

Sun. 4/5/09 6:41am From: Bas, NL

Right you are Tom!! The Dreamer Is Still Asleep is such a beautiful track!! Headphones here too ;)

Sun. 4/5/09 6:42am From: Dan B

I would just like to reassure you that I am always with you, regardless of whether the dreamer is still dreaming.

Sun. 4/5/09 6:44am From: Bas, NL

Sun. 4/5/09 6:55am From: Tom L (Hallock Hill)

An excellent morning to you all! This Pole is terrific.

Sun. 4/5/09 6:59am From: Bas, NL

This Pole track was on the NWW list/WM Berger/blog download at WFMU wasn't it?

Sun. 4/5/09 7:05am From: Wunde (Berlin)

there is an artist called pole on the german label scape (http://www.scape-music.de/Artist/details/scape/pole/)

Sun. 4/5/09 7:11am From: Bas, NL

You can find this Pole track here:

Sun. 4/5/09 7:14am From: Dan B

Thanks for the link Bas. They seem to be distinct Poles -- the 1975 era artist is not the same as the contemporary one on ~scape.

Sun. 4/5/09 7:20am From: Bas, NL

I must add that all the downloads on the William Berger's NWW blog are highly recommended; it's a fantastic and rare collection!!

Sun. 4/5/09 7:23am From: Tom L (Hallock Hill)

Thanks a lot, Bas. I'll check them out. Sounds great.

Sun. 4/5/09 7:30am From: andy

Morning everyone, I left the room to get a drink and returned to be freaked out by Whitney Houston. Oof. I've always meant to start on the NWW list, links much appreciated :)

Sun. 4/5/09 7:33am From: Bas, NL

LOL! It was a bit like Whitney meets NWW!!

Sun. 4/5/09 7:36am From: Staubgold

Hi Dan; hi all....

Sun. 4/5/09 7:48am From: Bas, NL

Hi Staubgold!

Sun. 4/5/09 7:53am From: andy

Oh god, Nurse With Whitney is back!

Sun. 4/5/09 7:56am From: Dan B

Meredith Monk is the anti-Whitney, so here's a little palate cleanser

Sun. 4/5/09 7:59am From: Bas, NL

Dan, do you have any Pan Sonic within reach? I was to see them do a show in Amsterdam yesterday, but unfortunately they had to cancel late, because one of the band members seems to be seriously ill :(

Sun. 4/5/09 8:02am From: Tom L (Hallock Hill)

'Mosquito Festival' is one of the best things on 'Beware of the Blog' recently. Love it. Reminds me of classic cartoons from the 20s and 30s.

Sun. 4/5/09 8:08am From: Dan B

Panasonic coming up soon, Bas.

Sun. 4/5/09 8:13am From: m. sputnik

hello from sasquatch territory; this is nice music to listen to while it's still dark and cold and evil out; it's soothing...

Sun. 4/5/09 8:35am From: Bas, NL

Thanks Dan! ;)
