From what I understand, modern wheat has been extensively hybridized to attain a manufacturing ideal. And the supply has become homogenous, so nobody has any variety in their diet anymore.

Mine is, I think, 23 years old now. My former boss claimed it was the heaviest he'd ever encountered. He was over-dramatizing it a bit, but you get the idea. When I stuff the bags on it...I'm stressing and wearin' & tearin' the roads like a trailer truck.

There was a fake internet trolling story but it brought up a funny point.. basically the fake story picked a famous celebrity and claimed they were suing apple b/c they wanted to pass down their "music collection" to their kids.. but b/c it's all through iTunes they could not legally be handed down.. or something.

same thing with phones.. you don't own your phone, you are not allowed to modify it like some tech/computer savvy folks like to modify things..and even though every single apple phone could be hacked into and made into a free wi-fi hotspot with NOTHING extra.. they program your phone so it will ponly work if you pay the company $20/month to have this feature.... YET the phone could do this if you were tech/hacker savvy.. - you lease the phone.

...Never understood people who love Music, but have no interest in where it came from - its' Roots. There's always the experience of telling someone (younger perhaps) that the Artist they are exalting listened to this other earlier Artist - & generating no interest whatsoever...fair enuff, in a way...

..so Now - trying to hoard all the Music in the World digitally on external hard drives...but been thru enuff Formats - & suspect it will All be in the mysterious & nondescript 'Cloud' on someone else's server anyhow ! Maybe this 20th Century thing of Collecting was the pathological attitude - not the new one...I'm a Completist w/ a few Artists (Hendrix, &tc.) - otherwise embrace the New & am happy w/ just the Music in whatever Format. (Obviously some things are just Collectible & Valuable.) The question of Right s & remuneration of the Artist - that's another matter...
