Fred, Mahlon Loomis said he was having success using the Bell telephone with his wireless setup in 1877, a year after Bell's original patent and the year he ACTUALLY had a GOOD telephone that was better than ones invented by others decades earlier. @MHLee, doing house cleaning so no time for research now. If memory is correct Burgundy St Blues is title of song recorded by George Lewis and there are versions with vocal where the female vocalist name places of interest that were on Burgundy St in New Orleans in early 1900s.
