A lot of these Edison singers do weird thing's with their Rs. I can tell how much of it is a technical singing thing and how much accent. A lot of them come off as vaguely Irish on my ears.

There's a newer app? My app tells me it is depreciated everytime I start it up
Avatar 10:51am

search "woofmoo" in the app store of your choice. totally revamped UI, Discogs, LastFM, and Spotify linking. There is a chat but you won't appear as logged in. Still have to do that through a browser

They work great on mobile too. "They" are aware of how hard it is to find the alt streams from the homepage, should be fixed sometime soon.

Woo Moo is only Android, but the official ios app was updated last fall.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30am

On my iphone 6, "chat" is on the bottom right, tap it and you see the comments, on the bottom right it says "post a message"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30am

I wish the official app did something about its dumb sign-in omission. It would make commenting much easier. Maybe it works better in iOS? I wouldn't know.
Avatar 11:32am
HyperDose:

Official app never worked well for me. The stream times out and you have to go back and open it because it doesn't prioritize the app in the RAM usage. Might be better for iOS users?

Read the Al Bowlly Wikipedia entry at the beginning of the show. While unfortunate that he was an early civilian casualty of the WWII bombing of Britain it was more sad to me that even with making 100s of recordings that he had to gig constantly to pay the bills.
