	👻 9:08pm Austin Rich: I work alone, but I have to go in to do the work; it's a bookstore, and I handle all the customer orders. So I go in the back, pull the books from my shelves (this is a warehouse collection. all rare books), and then I package them to be shipped. Then I leave the packages for the postal carrier, and then I leave. I don't really see many people, and I wear a mask while I'm indoors.

The next two episodes (this week and next week) will END the storyline, and then there are two further "pilot" episodes that I will air after that. It's been a fun show, but we will move on to some other sailing adventure.

	👻 9:29pm Austin Rich: While Box 13 often suggests that it will "go anywhere, do anything," it is surprising how often Dan just goes down the street. So to have a story that actually leaves the country is pretty cool. Though, from LA, Mexico isn't all that far away.

We speculated that the number probably included both Phil and The First Mate, and later we met Neilson, who was usually the "other" crew member in most stories. Phil mentioned a cook, and now we've met Coler. So here's the ship's manifest, so far: Phil Carney - Captain Red Gallagher - First Mate Neilson - Crewmember Four - Cook. Five - Coler Six Seven. Eight.

	10:15pm ImaginosBuzzardoDesdinova: I read one once where this scientist travels to the jungle to meet the indigenous people and discovers a rare flower that blooms once a year from a sacrificial corpse. She decides to try to grow it under lab conditions but they slip it into her food.

	👻 10:31pm Austin Rich: The slow pace of Chandu The Magician, and the fact they usually recap nearly every thing that's happened previously eventually, you can almost drop in at any time on this show. But there are time when it's a little confusing to follow, without remembers several months of story.
	👻 10:32pm Austin Rich: Dinner? Can you stand the suspense!
	👻 10:34pm Austin Rich: The sound on this episode is really thin, and while I did my best to beef it up a little, you can tell the source recording isn't great.
	👻 10:36pm Austin Rich: After several re-runs, it's been a while since Dimension X intentionally ran a NEW episode. This one is an original story by Ernest Kinoy, who usually wrote the adaptations of other people's stories. This time, this is an "original," though clearly lifted heavily from "The Martian Chronicles" work that Bradbury laid down.
	👻 10:37pm Austin Rich: Sadly, Dimension X would go off the air in 1951 after this episode, having completed it's first series, and wouldn't come back for almost exactly six months.
	👻 10:39pm Austin Rich: Since the transcription discs were still around at most of the radio stations that originally ran Dimension X, some stations continued to air Dimension X in re-runs, each station sort of choosing which episodes to air. Some stations completely gave up on the show, and didn't pick it up again when the new episodes came back.
	👻 10:40pm Austin Rich: My theory is that, unless there was a Sci-Fi fan on the staff at the station, Dimension X didn't really get a fair shake.
	👻 10:43pm Austin Rich: This story seems to be very heavily coded political commentary regarding Native Americans, something that Sci-Fi excels at. I do recall, listening to this as a child, that the story sort of hit me pretty heavy then. These days, it sounds sort of quaint.
	👻 10:44pm Austin Rich: Everyone remembers the Martian Colonies we had in 1997, right?

But there are time when it's a little confusing to follow, without remembers several months of story.

	👻 10:34pm Austin Rich: The sound on this episode is really thin, and while I did my best to beef it up a little, you can tell the source recording isn't great.
	👻 10:36pm Austin Rich: After several re-runs, it's been a while since Dimension X intentionally ran a NEW episode. This one is an original story by Ernest Kinoy, who usually wrote the adaptations of other people's stories. This time, this is an "original," though clearly lifted heavily from "The Martian Chronicles" work that Bradbury laid down.
	👻 10:37pm Austin Rich: Sadly, Dimension X would go off the air in 1951 after this episode, having completed it's first series, and wouldn't come back for almost exactly six months.
	👻 10:39pm Austin Rich: Since the transcription discs were still around at most of the radio stations that originally ran Dimension X, some stations continued to air Dimension X in re-runs, each station sort of choosing which episodes to air. Some stations completely gave up on the show, and didn't pick it up again when the new episodes came back.
	👻 10:40pm Austin Rich: My theory is that, unless there was a Sci-Fi fan on the staff at the station, Dimension X didn't really get a fair shake.
	👻 10:43pm Austin Rich: This story seems to be very heavily coded political commentary regarding Native Americans, something that Sci-Fi excels at. I do recall, listening to this as a child, that the story sort of hit me pretty heavy then. These days, it sounds sort of quaint.
