@TDK60 6:09 — yeah, prog just moved from super prominent (say 69-75) to becoming just another of the zillions of genres thriving out there that are not on the charts or radio (except FMU). There are self-created prog clusters and communities all over the place, you just have to seek them out — Italy, Scandinavia, Brasil, etc., not just the anglophone world where it started.

Yeah funny, the more I got into Prog the more I liked the Dead and I do agree, where I was from prog heads shunned the Dead a lot. I think I was a closet Dead Head in the beginning because it wasn't "cool" with where I hung. Had to hang with the heads some of the time tho!!
