The other week I fired off the opening line of Noises for the Leg to Bill Mac on his show for no perticler reason. He came back immediately with a knowing answer. Just now I was emailing him and the Bonzoes come on. The point is where on the radio can this happen, interaction with DJs; an unsurpassed knowledge that does not bore but is intelligent and worthwhile. A unique resource that must be treasured and protected.

The biggest prize of all is bearing able to hear Tony's show again! After moving away from NYC and losing his airslot on WFMU, it seemed as if Tony was silenced. BUT NO!!

WFMU itself came to the rescue and invented Give the Drummer Radio to give Tony's remarkable and unique ear for music a happy home.

Please pledge and ensure that Tony's program continues to have this platform for reaching us all.

PLEDGE UPDATE...PLEDGE UPDATE...
We are now 52% of the way toward reaching the goal for this show.

A single "Mouse of Today" (dollar-a-day: $365) pledge will push us over the top. If you haven't pledged yet. Now would be a WONDERFUL time to do so. Any pledge of $120 comes with the option of paying it in monthly installments. $10 a month for the next year seems eminently reasonable, no?!

That 47% number you see on the other pledge box represents WFMU's overall goal. As you can see, the station is well behind. The Marathon ends a midnight on Sunday. Please do keep pledging! Use Tony's pledge box and your gift will be recognized as a pledge in honor of Tony Coulter — but it all goes to the station. Of course!

There's 18 minutes left in the show. No need to stop pledging now! Defy all logic and the laws of mathematics by making my total MORE than the goal!!!

Doug Schulkind:

After Tony's show ends (in 18 minutes) take a nap and get ready for two more shows, LIVE, here on your 24-hour Drummer Stream.

Give the Drummer Some (6-7pm, ET) and Kaminsky Kamoutsky (7-9pm, ET)

Keep tuned in! Keep enjoying! Keep pledging!
