The Oscar:

I think I've mentioned this elsewhere on the site, but back in 2008 I came down to New York to see the Butthole Surfers reunion show. About halfway through the set, Gibby evidently got mad and threw a beer bottle at the sound guy, and was promptly escorted out by security. When it became evident they weren't coming back, the crowd erupted into chaos, generally yelling and throwing things. They were briefly interrupted, however, when an older tattooed woman sauntered onstage, fanning herself and telling the crowd to shush, before she got escorted off as well. Later, I spotted the same woman on the subway back to my friend's apartment. It wasn't until I read a news article about the show later that I realized that I'd just shared a train with Genesis P-Orridge!
