@Jeff G The version I played was described as a reissue of reissue of reissue of the record with some "minor improvements" or something like that... sounded very complicated to me but maybe because of those differences might be doing that to you partially?

Since I first started going to shows as a youngster, the night before Easter always been a music night. And of course refreshments of chemical or herbal variety have factored in along with piles of candy. So all this 4/20 jazz feels like just another holiday tradition this year.

re: This Is Not This Heat: I thought it was a very good set when I saw them a couple of years ago, but it wasn't anything new either. Not a disappointing reunion by any means, but nothing to anguish about missing. Then again, I had seen Phew the day before, and that set blew my mind

@fred I think reunions often have that quality, and I am generally not super excited about them. But to me, This Is Not This Heat made music of the highest variety. I saw Phew a phew months ago and was not as mind blown as you, though I still dug it -- different strokes for different folks!
