Good evening all! I've been to one of those Italian bunkers too, on the coast of Catania Sicily. It was filled with trash, definitely a hobo hut or party squat. Great place for me and my friend to get drunk on boxed wine together.

driving up rt.1 i saw that bunker and went to to investigate. while exploring the area we saw a gnarled car about 2/3 down the cliff, caught up on a rock. we couldn't tell from that distance -it could've been there an hour, coulda been a few years.
i debated whether on a journey down to it i'd slide out and end up in the ocean (or gnarled, caught up on a rock) when a guy from pa drove in and he took off down the cliff. he started sliding out long before getting to the car and started back up again. that took maybe 1/2 an hour and nearly didn't happen a few times.
still i wonder if anyone was in that car.

Dan that was pre-world wide web and i thought about it for years. when i started using the internet (c.2011) i searched for it but called it a fortress, not a bunker. i looked a few years ago again and found it. now it looks like they've made a sort of park around it.
