Hi Jan:-) today's show is helping me to sort out a few years worth of financial paperwork. Thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:56am
Jan Turkenburg:

Ah, that sounds like an awful job, Dave. I'm glad I can be of help !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59am
StringOFperils:

I wonder if Vivian Stanshall knew 'And the Parrot Said'. It reminds me of The Bonzo's 'Mr. Slater's Parrot' >

The music is taking the edge off. Otherwise a painful job beyond words. Always get nostalgic for some crackles and pops in my music :-)

Martinibomb:

Hi Jan! Had you on since you started this morning --
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01am
Jan Turkenburg:

Thanks StringOfperils, I think Vivian knew, for he did more adaptations of oldies, but I will have a comparison after the show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02am
StringOFperils:

More the idea than any musical parallel really. I'm guessing that it was familiar to him.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03am
Jan Turkenburg:

Hi MB! That's good to hear!
  11:03am
Martinibomb:

I am just being super nerdy and playing with a raspberry pi that I set up for Radio - really want to show you this thing Jan.. I'm in love
  11:04am
Dave in St Albans UK:

I had the pleasure of seeing Viv Stanshall perform in his "Stinkfoot : a Comic Opera" in London. He was accompanied by his dog which decided to shit on the stage at one point. Hilarious night.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:06am
Jan Turkenburg:

@Dave, that's a picture I probably can't get out of my head for a while :-) MB, I'm curious!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:06am
StringOFperils:

@mBomb....you and Ken were frying my mind with that stream thing you were engaged in yesterday. WFMU can always find some way of geting even weirder.
  11:07am
Martinibomb:

@String hahah! I'm glad you were okay with it. Ken and I have waaaaay to much fun

@MBomb..have to admit, a bit envious of the technical savvy involved. I exist on the cusp of not being very digitally involved...of a 'certain age' I suppose

@string if you're interested in making dj mixes/radio stuff you should check out mixxx it's a free opensource DJ app
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16am
StringOFperils:

@mBomb....thank you. I'm installing it. I wanted to re-acquire a wave editor from somewhere anyway...used to mess around with one, making mixes for CDR, way back there somewhere

Morning, y'all! Jan, do you know how absurdly happy I am to hear: "first some whistling, then some yodeling"?

Hi Mr. Fab! that turns a big smile on my face in return!

Hi Jan! That is some mighty whistling and yodeling that blends perfectly with the rustling of the leaves outdoors.

Well, dang, will have to check out the archives. I do love when Kenzo and Martinibomb cross the streams. Sometimes Ken and Andy get thrown in there, too.
