It would start before dawn on a Sunday morning. Many vendors offered Genesis rarities and oddities. I met Armando Gallo, the band's frequent photographer, selling his first book about them.

Before the show, the male performers, including Byrne and Frantz were in one dressing room. David Bowie sticks his head thru the door and says hi guys, then just walks over to the food on the table. He says 'Is anyone gonna have these cheeses" Frantz says 'No, help yourself!' Bowie then proceeds to wrap up all the pieces of cheese into a couple of napkins and puts them into his pocket. Then he just walks back to the door, turns to the guys and says 'Cant wait to see Tom Tom Club', then leaves. Byrne was crushed.

It would start before dawn on a Sunday morning. Many vendors offered Genesis rarities and oddities. I met Armando Gallo, the band's frequent photographer, selling his first book about them.

Before the show, the male performers, including Byrne and Frantz were in one dressing room. David Bowie sticks his head thru the door and says hi guys, then just walks over to the food on the table. He says 'Is anyone gonna have these cheeses" Frantz says 'No, help yourself!' Bowie then proceeds to wrap up all the pieces of cheese into a couple of napkins and puts them into his pocket. Then he just walks back to the door, turns to the guys and says 'Cant wait to see Tom Tom Club', then leaves. Byrne was crushed.
