September 19, 2020:
Celebrating Global Music Month: New Multi-Culti Music of the US & Canada
Listen to this show:
Pop-up player!
WFMU's Transpacific Sound Paradise joins in celebrating Global Music Month this September! Global Music Month is a collaborative online mega-festival featuring content from nineteen festivals and event producers in the US and Canada, most of whom normally present in-person festivals and concerts in the summer and autumn months. Because that's not possible this year they've teamed up to cross-promote online events all this month under the Global Music Month banner.
On tonight's show we celebrate Global Music Month and its spotlight on festivals in the US and Canada with three hours of new multi-culti music from the US and Canada!
The full daily schedule for Global Music Month is here.
Here's a highlight from this past week's Global Music Month offerings: New York's own Flushing Town Hall presents one of their fun Global Mash-Up concerts from 2018 -
Balkans Meets El Barrio with Raya Brass Band & Spanglish Fly:
You can find out more and watch lots and lots of great live-streamed and archival performances from the nineteen and presenters listed below, all September, at:

Kate tried to post this comment, and the system wouldn't let her for some reason, but:

Going down into the mid-thirties up here tonight. So weird. The dog is pointedly claiming a blanket.
litmus0001:
We saw them in Portland a few years ago and my wife called it "adderall jazz". Pretty apt.

Hi Ken, yes, do not feel them as they have been at lower magnitudes.

Also, did somebody say they had Adderall? Asking for a friend.
