Franco Twinkie:

Spodiodi, in before times, where did you caffeinate in the city?
  10:39am
spodiodi:

Franco, we’re into tea, and just drink it at home. The lady would have coffee out when she went out to work before the plague, but I’m not sure where or if she just had some at her job.

Mostly we just have TJs Black Irish tea, with an earl grey as an at. We have a bunch of tea. Hediard is one of my other faves but can be difficult to find.
  10:40am
spodiodi:

Battery dying here and time to shower too . I’ll be bahck

Hi spodi!
  10:43am

We have a coffee machine we bought for guests 12+ years ago and maybe used it once since they left . I just packed and moved it and I think it’s in a box in the garage now, but we have no coffee afaik
  10:43am
spodiodi:

How are the dregs, btw?
  10:44am

Just got a new used microwave yesterday to reheat tea (old one belongs to old landlord)

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:27am

revenge from mars or attack from mars?
  11:30am
Martinibomb:

Attack! hah I was just watching the Pinball 2000 documentary and they covered revenge
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31am
spodiodi:

i think you must mean Attack From Mars... i love that one. that's the last one i played very much... was popular with my partner and i. fun table
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31am
spodiodi:

Revenge is new to me -- just reading about it
  11:31am

yeh I'm just getting into attack and realizing what a fantastic game it is it's really well designed
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33am
StringOFperils:

I only remember ladies in the window in Holland. :)
  11:33am
Martinibomb:

yeh revenge/star wars (pinball 2000 series) last things williams made - they quit about 9 months into Revenge when it just didn't sell enough

  11:35am
Martinibomb:

I could guess what the plunger might look like :-)
  11:36am
Martinibomb:

a harpoon of course hah
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38am
spodiodi:

that would make sense, but i think i had a harpoon mounted up top for some reason. i don't even remember which computer i was using.... but had a kit or two, and most of the layout never made it off paper (which is as good as lost now, i'm betting)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38am
chresti:

Wow Jan, we are finally cooling off a little (October here can reach the 100s)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:40am
spodiodi:

i know i had/have Mastodon's Blood and Thunder in my head any time i was thinking about it though :)
Avatar 11:40am
Ursula1000:

I love pinball art designs! A great local comic book shop called Desert Island has just the main base of a Gottleib Spiderman one from the late 70s I'm guessing on their wall that's gorgeous!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am
spodiodi:

"I think that someone is trying to kill me
Infecting my blood and destroying my mind" :D

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am
Jan Turkenburg:

@chresti 70 yesterday was a record for us
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:42am
spodiodi:

cool, Ursula! i really miss playing with friends in non-novelty settings... ah, the good old days
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:44am
spodiodi:

i also miss the networkable tables that (i forget which title) PS# supported for a while... stupid "Pinball Arcade" took over and scrapped support for PS-everything, afaik. seems they were more focussed on PC dollars
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:45am
spodiodi:

mbomb has me wanting to scrap work and play Attack From Mars real bad :-B any excuse is welcome, i suppose
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:46am

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:48am
StringOFperils:

It's all in the hips.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49am
spodiodi:

i think i remember seeing that one occasionally, Sting -- loks fun... fast enough for the time. reminds me of Genie -- probably the oldest one i play(ed) regularly on the old PS (1979 Gottlieb)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49am
spodiodi:

nudge and nudge like ya mean it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am

always nice to have spectators witnessing the gyrations of control, eh? ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am
StringOFperils:

How far can you go without TILTing it?
  11:50am
Martinibomb:

yeh I've been bitten hard by the pinball bug during covid for some reason... getting ready to rent a machine for a few months hopefully... just trying to figure out which one I want
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am
spodiodi:

or Loss of Control (rip, Eddie)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:51am
spodiodi:

Comet, Cyclone and Hurricane are some other faves
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52am
spodiodi:

get one of those, mbomb! i thought about renting one a few years ago, but never did
  11:52am
Martinibomb:

In Portland where I live Pinball is actually pretty big more pinball tables per capita than anywhere else.. so I can pretty much rent any table I want
  11:54am
Martinibomb:

really leaning toward whitewater right now.. I love the double play field on that. The new Munsters looks cool to me too tho as it has "grandpa's basement" a second tiny pinball table which looks insane during multiball
